To book a hotel in Baikal at best price

Lake Baikal is located on the border of Irkut province and the Republic of Buryatia, the centre of the Asian continent. Blue Lake Siberia, Holy Sea, the World ' s Brilliant is what they call Baikal. The deep-sea lake stores the largest global freshwater supply unique to its composition. Not only is it pure and transparent, but it also contains so few mineral salts that are equal to distilled.

In the form of a birthable half-month, Baikal pulled from the south-west to the north-east. The lake is 636 km long, the largest width in the central part is 81 km, the minimum width opposite the Selengi Delta is 27 km. Beikal is positioned at a height of 455 m above sea level, the coastline length is approximately 2,000 km. More than half of the lake coastline is protected.

About 300 rivers and streams are entering Baykal, with half of the water entering the lake bringing the Seleng river. The only river from Baikal is Angara. There are about 20 islands on the lake, the largest of which is Olhon.

From all directions, Baikal is surrounded by mountain ridges and spikes - the west coast is more scalistic and turbulent than the east. Living environs with exceptional diversity of flora and fauna attract tourists from all over the world. The region has received the status of the planetary reserve. By the number of rare plants that only grow here, it exceeds Madagascar and the Galapagos Islands. It's the best time to rest in Baikal from May to October. In summers other than tours, walks and fishermen, tourists have access to beach rest, and in winter, to mining sports.
